These anodised and brass beret badges are worn by Other Ranks of the RE (RMIJ) TA. The second badge is the same front as the first but does not have the 'yellow' gold of the original badge and also has a hollowed area to the reverse of the centre shield, issued C.1998. The third badge is made of brass in two pieces and gilded, it is a much heavier and far better quality badge than the anodised ones. This badge was introduced in 2008.
