This lead musket ball was recovered from the Royal Square in Jersey during the repaving of the area adjacent to the Peirson Public House in the early 1980's. It was projectiles such as these which were fired from the Town Hill. The second photograph shows where the ball has been flattened when it came into contact with one of the surrounding buildings.
