This silver medallion is the 'Bailiff's Medal' It is presented by the Bailiff of Jersey to visiting Officials and other prominent individuals.
This particular example is named to me and my wife !!!! It was given to us as a wedding gift by a good friend and medal dealer.
Also made in gilt base metal.
